Travelpartner was one of Aggregate’s first investments in 2003, and it remains one of the most successful to date. At the time of investment, the company operated as an internet travel agency, acting as a White Label under brands like ICA and TV3, with a gross turnover of approximately 50 million SEK, but with declining sales due to a lack of activity from its partners.

In collaboration, we decided to launch the brand Travelpartner.se with a different focus than the existing competitors. We targeted the approximately 90% of people who had not yet booked travel online, focusing especially on the older demographic. After some initial trial and error, we found the creative approach with CEO Leif Lundin as the figurehead, using billboards and full-page ads in Stockholm and business newspapers.

The company quickly gained momentum, and by the summer of 2006, we listed it on First North and sold our stake at that time. The company was generating 350 million SEK in revenue, a figure that would increase tenfold during its time on the stock market.
